The only fully licensed insect farm for black soldier flies in Germany so far creates a new basis for more sustainable livestock feed from organic residues and thus makes an important contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in Germany and worldwide.
Protein, oil and fertilizer are produced in the recycling process of the insect. In this way, 100% of the fly species can be recycled and no waste is produced. With their innovative approach to make agriculture more sustainable, founder Luisa Henning and founder Christian Henning were already able to close a successful financing round with the “Innovationskredit 2023” this year.
They convinced our jury at the Frankfurt Forward Pitch and thus secured the chance to receive many benefits and to participate in the Startup of the Year Event!
