Our Mission
Frankfurt Forward supports outstanding initiatives and projects that promote and develop the local startup ecosystem. We offer not only financial support, but also a platform to make your initiative more visible and establish valuable contacts.

With a budget of up to €5,000 per initiative, we support projects that:

Create networking opportunities that enable targeted networking (matchmaking)

Address current key topics of the ecosystem or provide relevant impetus within the ecosystem

Criteria for participation
Added value for the startup ecosystem
The initiative or project should have positive effects on start-ups and at least one other target group (e.g. companies, investors, science) in the FrankfurtRhineMain ecosystem.
Networking and matchmaking
There should be opportunities for targeted networking and matchmaking.
Contribution to key topics
The initiative should promote at least one annual focus topic of Frankfurt Forward (2024: artificial intelligence, craftsmanship, expansion to B2C) or contribute to its positioning as a driving force and matchmaker.
Performance measurement and KPIs
Mechanisms for measuring success must be in place (KPIs) and be compared at least once a year.
Online presence and branding
A dedicated homepage or social media channel on which the Frankfurt Forward logo can be placed.
Location and invoicing
The initiative must be based in FrankfurtRhineMain and be able to issue a proper, tax-recognised invoice (in the case of financial support).
