Yesterday, Tuesday, 17.10.2023, the second Frankfurt Forward trade event “Frankfurt Startup Spotlight” took place at the Frankfurt event location Re:Mynd, an exclusive event for investors and interested parties who wanted to get an insight into the startup ecosystem of the region.
The event demonstrated the enormous potential of the FrankfurtRhineMain startup ecosystem, which is characterized by a wide variety of different business fields, all of which have the potential to shape entire industries with their innovations. The selected “stars” CLARK (presented by Dr. Marco Adelt) and Wingcopter (Ansgar Kadura) as well as the “rising stars” Magnotherm (Timur Sirman), Energy Robotics (Dorian Scholz), portagon (Johannes Laub) and Rail-Flow (Dominik Fürste) address key societal challenges such as securing and sustainably transforming infrastructure, the shortage of skilled workers and providing secure investment opportunities.
After the welcome of the participants by Ansgar Roese (Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt) and Christian W. Jakob (Frankfurt Forward) and the keynote speech by Dr. Marco Adelt (CLARK Germany GmbH), who impressively addressed the current risks for Germany’s innovative and economic power and called for new ways in society, the pitches of the startups followed.
The startups inspired the audience with their business models, success stories and visions for the future. The pitches were accompanied by a keynote speech by Andreas Lukic (Business-Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V.), who spoke about the role of the financial center Frankfurt as a strategic location for founders and business angels.After the pitches, the participating national investors had the opportunity to meet the stars and rising stars in person at their booths and to exchange ideas in a relaxed environment.

In a few weeks, on November 15, 2023 we expect the upcoming stars, the Frankfurt Forward Startup of the Month at the Startup of the Year Gala at the Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof, where they will pitch for the Startup Bembel and big prizes in front of the demanding audience!
