Cansativa: From family party to family business

In 2017, the German Bundestag passed a law that allows cannabis as medicine, causing lively discussions between the brothers Jakob (lawyer) and Benedikt (strategy consultant) and their father (doctor) at a family party. The same evening the rough concept for Cansativa was ready.

As a one-stop-shop, Cansativa is now a certified medical cannabis specialist wholesaler and a central point of contact for pharmacies when cannabis-based narcotics are required. The founders consider medical cannabis as a platform and want to connect stakeholders in order to professionalize the entire industry, improve the availability of medical cannabis, reduce costs sustainably and ensure therapeutic success.
