Prof. Dr h.c. mult. Roland Koch was Minister President of the State of Hesse from 1999 to 2010, Deputy Federal Chairman of the CDU between 2006 and 2010 and subsequently Chairman of the Executive Board of Bilfinger SE. Mr Koch has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UBS Europe SE since 2011. He has also been a lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since 2017.
Born in Frankfurt, he appreciates the metropolis on the Main not only as a financial centre and business location. In particular, he emphasises the city’s potential for the development and use of modern financial technologies and their disruptive power beyond the city limits. He admires the creativity and drive of the next generation of entrepreneurs.
