After studying business administration in Oldenburg, Michael Kadow took over the program management of the Six Sigma headquarters at DB Netz in 2002, where he was responsible for the implementation and further development of the Six Sigma quality program at DB Netz AG and for the control and implementation of the Rail Excellence Program in the business areas of Deutsche Bahn AG. From 2006-2008 he was Head of Efficiency Management at DB Logistics, where he was responsible for increasing the efficiency and profitability of processes, products and services by implementing the continuous improvement process in the Transport and Logistics department. He then became Vice President of the Business Excellence department at DB Schenker Strategy, where his responsibilities included ensuring sustainable customer loyalty through joint optimization of value creation. He was also responsible for Global Account Management and for the strategic conception, implementation and marketing of DB Schenker’s innovation and science management, and established DB Schenker Laboratories in this context. Since March 2015, he has taken over the management of the House of Logistics and Mobility, where he has set himself the task of establishing the company as an innovative platform for promoting the logistics and mobility industry. In addition to shaping the content of topic-related fields of action in logistics and mobility, his aim is to create a meeting place at HOLM to share knowledge and promote industry at the interface between logistics and mobility. Today, HOLM is established as a development and networking centre for logistics and mobility.
