Bernhard Grieb

Bernhard Grieb has been Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt GmbH since January 2025. Born in Friedrichshafen, he graduated with a degree in industrial engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. He then worked for Wirtschaftsförderung Bodenseekreis GmbH for eight years from 2007, initially in location marketing and finally as branch manager in Überlingen. In 2015, he moved to VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH, where he worked as a consultant in the areas of innovation, transformation, and economic development in Stuttgart and, at times, in Berlin. From 2022 to 2024, he headed the economic development department of the state capital Stuttgart. He also worked part-time at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim, where he held a teaching position in the “Business Administration—Public Economy/Economic Development” program from 2018 to 2023.
