Andreas Lukic

Mr. Andreas Lukic is co-founder and managing director of ValueNet Capital Partners GmbH, Frankfurt/Munich, a private investment and consulting company founded in 2000 that carries out investments, financing, and M&A transactions in management buyouts/buy-ins and company successions, invests in growth-oriented companies from the corporate, SME, and start-up sectors on a case-by-case basis, and supports their development. Mr. Lukic is a member of several advisory boards, co-head of the PrivateMarketsOne initiative, chairman of Business Angels Mittelhessen e.V. and Business Angels Rhein-Neckar e.V., spent 20 years building up Business Angels FrankfurtRheinMain e.V., and has been active as a business angel since 1999. Mr. Lukic previously worked at Bain (London, Munich) in the Private Equity Group in buyouts, growth financing, and venture capital. He began his career at the Mitchell Madison Group (New York, Frankfurt) in investment advisory. He holds degrees in chemical engineering and economics as well as applied cultural studies, is married, and has children.

Mr. Lukic chose to live in Frankfurt, preferring it to other places he has lived in the US, UK, and Munich, and has been involved in a number of startups in his private life. In addition, Lukic supports the professional development of the startup financing chain in the Frankfurt financial center by chairing business angel associations in the Frankfurt metropolitan region, the PrivateMarketsOne initiative, and other initiatives, e.g., in the field of artificial intelligence, for startups in small and medium-sized businesses, the EY Startup Academy, the Frankfurt Springboard of the MCF, and has also initiated and led formats such as the FintechGermany Award. He is co-author of the “Practical Handbook for Financing Innovations,” among other publications. Andreas Lukic works regularly with cities and municipalities, states, and the federal government and is involved in various committees, e.g., the FRM Metropolitan Region State Chancelleries Circle, FrankfurtForward, and the FFM Financial Center Mission Statement, among others.
