After graduating in electrical engineering and business administration, Jürgen Bilo began his career at VDO A. Schindling AG as a software engineer. In the following years, he held various management positions in the areas of research and development, project management and sales. At the same time, he completed an executive management course at Babson College, USA.
In 1999, he became General Manager at Mannesmann VDO AG, where he was responsible for setting up a business division in North America. After returning to Siemens VDO in 2002, he was initially responsible for a customer center and from 2003 as Managing Director for the haptic and climate control devices division. In 2011, he took over responsibility as Vice President Program Management and Sales worldwide as well as the Europe segment in the Hybrid Electric Vehicle business unit at Continental. In 2015, he became Head of Strategy and Innovation in the Corporate Systems & Technology division.
Since July 2017, he has been responsible for Continental’s startup organization – co-pace GmbH – as Managing Director. This is where partnerships and minority investments in start-ups are implemented.
